For shop owners

Your shelf, in the search box

6,014 independent Seattle businesses are listed here, and 524 of them have their whole catalog searchable, 266,099 items, read straight from their own store. If you sell online, yours may already be one of them.

Find your shop

Free to be listed, claimed and found. No commission today.

What this does that a listing does not

A directory lists your name. This lists what you sell. Someone searching for a rain jacket finds your rain jacket, at your price, next to every other independent in the city that has one. They do not have to know you exist, or guess which kind of shop would carry it.

Every buy button goes to your own store and your own checkout. We do not take the order, and we take no cut of it today.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no fee to be listed or claimed, and no commission on anything you sell today. A neighborhood page may carry a sponsor. A sponsor is clearly labelled as one and changes nothing about which shops appear in the listings or in what order, as our terms also say.

How your catalog gets here

If your store runs on Shopify, Square Online, WooCommerce or Wix, we read the product catalog it already publishes, every few days. No plugin, no account, no work from you, and prices and stock follow whatever your store says. If it runs on something else, or you cannot find your shop at all, tell us about your store and we will look.

Claiming your shop

  1. Find your listing. Search your shop’s name, and open its page.
  2. Claim it with your email, from the box at the bottom of that page.
  3. We check it is yours: a person writes back to you, then fixes what you tell us is wrong and adds your story.

We are a pilot and claims are answered by hand, so give us a few days.

Corrections, and taking your shop down

Wrong hours, the wrong photograph, closed for good, or you would simply rather not be listed: ask us to change or remove it. The directory starts from OpenStreetMap, the public map, so your shop is here because the map says it exists, not because you signed up for anything. A removal is done within a day, with no conditions and nothing to argue about, and it stays down: we hide the listing and its items rather than delete them, so the next import from the map does not put it back.
