Clean As A Broke-Dick Dog is the debut album from The Monkeywrench , a Seattle supergroup pairing Mark Arm and Steve Turner of Mudhoney with Tim Kerr and Tom Price of the Fastbacks and Big Boys, plus Thrown Ups drummer Martin Bland. The record leans into blues rock and garage-punk grit rather than the grunge sound its members were known for, covering Buffy Sainte-Marie's "Codine," Mose Allison's "Stop This World," and Redd Kross's "Notes & Chords Mean Nothing To Me" alongside original tracks.
