Dating to circa 1880, this Victorian necklace is crafted in garnet gold and set with richly colored faceted garnets. Measuring approximately 16 inches, the necklace features repeating floral clusters that gradually lead the eye to a more elaborate central arrangement. At the center, the repeating floral vocabulary develops into a crescent moon and star-like floral motif, surrounded by graduated garnets and finished with an articulated drop.
