CG779 - Black Opal

Available from Seattle Pottery Supply when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

1 Pint Cone 06: (1st image) Black Opal is an opaque black base glaze with large red crystals. Cone 6: (2nd image) Base glaze remains – crystals fade and melt. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. Jungle Gems ™ Crystal Glazes transform in the kiln when the small pieces of glass frit burst into color and intricate patterns during the firing process. Artists use these beautiful glazes to add dramatic, colorful effects to their creations.
