Organic Silver Needle (Bai Hao Yinzhen)

Available from Tea House Gallery when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

The visibly intact downy hairs that give Silver Needle its name eventually become part of the experience when this tea is steeped. The simple flavor is of light straw, but with sweetness of vanilla orchid. The presence of this tea is felt in its physically thick body and the incredible amount of energy released from each bud - its also higher in antioxidants than green tea. Peer into the Gaiwan to see the buds stand up straight as if ready to dance, truly enchanting! Fujiian Province, China
