Cheryl DeGroot has been making jewelry in the Northwest for over 30 years. Before turning full time to her craft in 1987, she worked as a cab driver, bartender, cannery worker and a welder and rigger directing crane operators at Tacoma Boat. DeGroot credits the architectural quality of her designs to the geometry of that job, its arc of cable and crane.
