Circa 1890. This excellent 18KT gold Victorian signet ring is engraved with an insignia that features two lions, a crown, the sun, and what appears to be a sheaf of arrows. A crown nearly always signifies sovereignty, authority, or a connection to the monarchy. Combined with the lions, it strongly suggests nobility or aristocratic ties.
