Circa 1900, this Art Nouveau compact by Huguenin Frères of Switzerland is crafted in silver and decorated with finely engraved flowers and flowing foliage. The design is signed HUGUENIN DEP., identifying the renowned Swiss firm and indicating a registered design. The circular case opens to reveal a mirror, a 9ct gold interior compartment, and a powder puff. The richly detailed floral decoration reflects the Art Nouveau fascination with natural forms and fluid, organic design. Known for finely ex
