Grog, Christy 12-20M Mix

Available from Seattle Pottery Supply when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

12-20 Mesh means we blended 12 Mesh and 20 Mesh grogs. This is our most coarse grog. Christy Grog is a calcined clay product used in ceramics to add texture, reduce shrinkage, and improve thermal shock resistance in clay bodies. It is commonly used in stoneware, sculptural clay, and hand-built pottery to create grogged textures, strengthen the body, and reduce warping during drying and firing.
