EL145 - Ginger root

Available from Seattle Pottery Supply when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Cone 06: (1st image) Ginger Root is a glossy, mottled taupe and orangish brown glaze with an orangish brown stain. Cone 6: (2nd image) Color changes to a semi-translucent gold/brown that breaks over texture and pools blue. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. TIP: This glaze will move slightly with three coats. Inspired by aspects of nature, Elements™ and Elements™ Chunkies produce lush, organic, and earthy hues. Designed to simulate the look of mid-range glazes but in a low-fire firing.
