Peruvian Tweed is composed of two soft-twist plies that are wrapped with a third, more tightly twisted ply. Two or three colors are used, giving it a ragg look. The color variation makes for an interesting visual texture when the yarn is woven or knitted. Like all alpacas, it is very warm for its weight.
