Lithium Carbonate (Li₂CO₃) is a white, powdery material used in ceramics as a flux in glazes and clay bodies. It lowers the melting point of glazes, promotes glossy surfaces, and can enhance color response, particularly in high-temperature stoneware and porcelain.
