Available from Ballard Consignment when we last checked, in the last two days. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Hand-painted folk decoration covers this Firkin, a small lidded pail with a swing handle. A figure in a red dress sits inside a floral wreath on the lid, and birds and scrolling flowers in red, blue, cream and green wrap the body between painted red bands. It brightens a kitchen shelf or an entryway.
