Karel Martens - Birthday Calendar

Closed, opens tomorrow 11amIndependent shop in BallardDirections

Available from Woodland Mod when we last checked, in the last two days. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

The layered and multi-hued patterns in this birthday calendar – made to hang on your wall – are based on a single geometrical composition punched out of colored cardstock in multiple directions. Originally conceived by Karel Martens in 1968, the design has remained unrealized until now. 14 pages, 30 x 42 cm, hardcover, Roma Publications 2026 Made in Amsterdam
