The wooden tailor clapper is the perfect and must have pressing tool for every sewing room. It can be used for everything from pressing up hems, creasing pants, pressing seam allowances open and even pressing knit fabrics. Both sides have grooves for easy handling and the wood is unfinished to better absorb steam. Simply press the iron to the seam and steam. Then press the tailor clapper onto the seam and hold for flat, crisp seams. Made from red oak.
