Vint. Continental Scale Works Standing Scale

Available from Ballard Consignment when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Infuse your space with a touch of industrial history and nostalgic charm with this Vintage Standing Scale by the renowned Continental Scale Works (Health-O-Meter). A classic fixture of mid-century medical offices and gymnasiums, this "doctor’s scale" is as much a sculptural conversation piece as it is a functional relic of American manufacturing. Features the iconic sliding weight (steelyard) mechanism with a dual-bar system for high-precision manual measurements.
