Drowning Man

Available from Ballard Consignment when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This original painting by artist L.W. Barker , dated 2015, depicts a poignant scene of a man submerged in turbulent white waters. Above him, a large hand reaches down from the top of the canvas, offering help. The artwork is inscribed with verses from Psalm 69:1-2 , adding a spiritual layer to the imagery of struggle and rescue. Housed in a dark, beveled wood frame.
