"Dinosaur Egg" Purple Clay Tea Pot

Available from Young Tea when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Handmade from purple clay, a famous characteristic of Yixing teapots are their porous nature, which allow the tea pot to absorb trace amounts of brewed tea flavors and minerals with each brewing. Over time, these accumulate to give each Yixing teapot its own unique interior coating that flavors and colors future brewings. Therefore, steep only one type of tea in a particular Yixing teapot so that future brewings of the same type of tea will be optimally enhanced. Cleaning instruction: DO NOT USE
