Canaan Organic Flame-Roasted Freekeh 8.8 oz

Available from The Shop Agora when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Freekeh is a traditional flame-roasted green wheat from Palestine. Freekeh has three times the fiber of brown rice, plus more vitamins and minerals. Green wheat is harvested in spring, sun dried and flame roasted, then rubbed and cracked. It cooks up firm and chewy, and is satisfyingly filling, with a distinct earthy taste and subtle smokiness. Organic and Fair Trade certified. Imported from Palestine. 8.8 oz. box.
