Dating to circa 1870, this Victorian fob is crafted in 18KT gold and set with an oval bloodstone intaglio engraved with a starfish. The intaglio's simplicity gives way to considerably more ornament on the reverse. The gold back features a radiating, fluted design that sweeps outward from the articulated suspension fitting, creating movement around the otherwise compact circular form.
