Fountain Pen 101

Available from The Outpost Stationery when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop covers everything you need to get started with fountain pens, from nib sizes and paper differences to cartridges, converters, filling, and basic care. You’ll get to try a variety of pens, inks, and papers and leave knowing what to look for when choosing your first fountain pen. Registration is $25 and includes $15 off an in-store purchase after the workshop (perhaps to go towards a fountain pen?)
