Official Salmonberry pin. Rubus spectabilis , the salmonberry, is a species of bramble in the rose family native to the west coast. Salmonberries are found in forests and stream margins, especially in the coastal forests. They run in a gorgeous range of color and flavor and are a joy to discover. Apply liberally to denim, zippers, hats, and all things canvas or cloth. Send pictures of your salmonberries in the wild.
