Levêlez created Sierra y Costa by blending cacao from two distinct growing regions of Tabasco, bringing together the mountains and the coast in a single 65% dark chocolate. The “Sierra” comes from Tacotalpa, a mountainous area where cacao grows amid abundant natural shade and rich tropical biodiversity. The “Costa” comes from Comalcalco, closer to the Gulf of Mexico, where sea breezes reach cacao and coconut trees growing in the coastal land
