This vintage Mexican chalkware shaggy dog bank is a charming slice of mid‑century kitsch, modeled after the beloved big‑eye “Rags” puppy character created by 1960s toy designer Edward Mobley. As a coin bank, it’s both functional and collectible, embodying the playful, folk‑art spirit that makes chalkware pieces from this era so appealing.
