Circa 1920. This beautiful Arts & Crafts era pendant features Irish Connemara Marble cabochons bezel-set in silver. Connemara Marble is a rich, green marble from County Galway in Ireland. The marble is often streaked with white, grey, or forest green and is believed to be 600 million years old. Pieces with Connemara Marble in the 1920s are often associated with Irish heritage and pride, especially after the Irish Free State was established in 1922.
