The warmth of the wooden handle and its gentle curves, along with the beautiful Damascus pattern, create a serene, traditional Japanese atmosphere. The cutting performance is entirely different from the typical serrated steak knives used in Western cuisine. The finely serrated edge of the blade grips and slices through the meat fibers without crushing them, preserving the flavor. Inside the handle, a metal butt cap is embedded to ensure an optimal weight balance that fits comfortably in the hand
