Darning Egg — Knit Picks

Available from Wool Friends when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Save your socks! This wooden darning egg fits easily in small projects like socks to assist in repairs. Stretch your worn knit over the egg to add just the right amount of tension while darning. The unique shape is particularly helpful for darning worn sock heels, so they still fit perfectly after the repair. Handle: 3" length Egg: 2.5" length, 5.75" circumference Total length: 5.5"
