Yuichi Takemata, based in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, is a master metalworker who crafts bespoke jewelry while also creating everyday items like cutlery. Using the traditional metalworking technique of hammering metal sheets into shape, his original cutlery pieces produce a pleasant "kan-kan-kan" sound during their creation, embodying elegance in every detail. Takemata's notable work includes the "Ryo" series, designed by Osamu Saruyama and pressed by Tasaki Metal in Tsubame City, Niigata Pre
