Invented by none other than Andrew McClean, a grand master of ski mountaineering, the Black Diamond Whippet Ski Pole goes literally hand in hand with steep skiing. The pick is made of stainless steel so you can be confident that it will punch into the iciest slope, allowing you some margin of security. The dual density grip and canard wing ensure that if you do need to self arrest, you will be able to hold on and the whippet will grind you to a halt. This is a tool you can trust every time. Weig
