1969 Gretsch 6072 Country Gentleman Bass

Independent shop in Pioneer SquareDirections

Available from Emerald City Guitars when we last checked, in the last two days. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This rare '69 Gretsch Country Gentleman Bass is one of the coolest instruments we have in the shop. Big, thick neck with a 34" scale length... it almost feels like an upright. It's a statement. The tone is big. Round and woofy, with a lovely voicing from a pair of Super'Trons that sound as good as you could ever hope for. The bass is in good shape, with typical vintage Gretsch binding rot and heavy wear throughout, but the playability is dialed, and the bass's structural integrity is solid! Incl
