Copper Oxide, Red (Cu₂O) is a red or reddish-brown copper oxide used in ceramics as a colorant and flux in glazes. It is particularly effective in reduction firings, producing red, pink, or coppery metallic effects, and is often used in high-fire stoneware and porcelain for unique surface coloration.
