This original painting by L.W. Barker , dated 2013, depicts the biblical scene of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. The folk-art style composition features Jesus in a white robe, seated by a stone well, gesturing toward a woman in a vibrant blue dress carrying a jug on her head. Set against a backdrop of sun-drenched mountains and a bright orange sun, the piece is presented in a wide, dark beveled wood frame.
