Kaoru Sakurai makes pottery in Mashiko, where pottery is their main industry. She is relatively new potter who tries many different way of making including clay and glazes. I can see female touch on her works, though at the same time, some pieces show power of clay and fire. *This particular cup has gold or silver edge on the top and bottom.
