This tall eight‑panel Coromandel screen makes a bold statement with its deep burgundy lacquer and sweeping palace‑life scene carved and gilded across the surface. Warm gold leaf settles into the incised linework, creating a lively contrast against the rich red ground. It’s a dramatic, sculptural piece that brings classic Chinese artistry and storytelling into the room with real presence.
