Burlap & Barrel Ground Treetop Cloves

Available from Scandinavian Specialties when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

Treetop Cloves are sweet, bright and deeply aromatic, with tasting notes of brown sugar, pineapple and a gentle, tingly warmth. Their flavor is vivid and clean, adding intensity without bitterness and a sweetness that lingers. Grown on Selayar Island in Indonesia, these cloves are hand-picked from tall trees while still bright pink, then dried and ground to preserve their naturally sweet, intense aroma. Use ground Treetop Cloves anywhere you want warmth and depth. They’re excellent in braised me
