Dated 1915; Birmingham, England. This lovely ring is crafted in 18KT yellow gold and features a five-stone design set with three round, mixed-cut rubies weighing a total of .37 carats, alternating with two old European-cut diamonds weighing .14 carats, with SI1 clarity and G-H color. The gemstones are prong-set in an open gallery. The interior of the shank bears Birmingham assay marks along with a date letter corresponding to 1915, as well as the maker’s mark “W&FR.” The ring is approximately a
