Late 19th C. European ebonized finish and applied ripple ornament reverse profile frame in the 17th C. Dutch style

This frame has a flat liner rising in a wide cove, narrow ripple to the convex top edge. The profile descends in a broad ogee profile to a ripple band and then rises slightly in a slightly rounded shape with a thin outer edge. Original finish.
