Late 19th C. American gilded and applied ornament fluted cove frame

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has an ogee profile fluted cove with leaves at the corners and curling leaves at the top edge. Cove sides with a leaf motif at the narrow back edge. Bronze paint over original gilding.
