Late 19th C. German, sloped oak, applied ornament and gold leaf frame

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has a flat liner with a band of stylized flowers rising in a broad sloping frieze and a cove set between two ribs to the convex top with small flowers overlaid with curving burnished leaves and acanthus leaf corners.
