Early to mid 20th C. European carved and gilded “Montparnasse” frame in the Louis XIV style

This frame has a white painted liner. The outer Louis XIV style frame has carved extended corners and centers with a foliate sight edge and C scrolls and leaf motifs on a curved profile.
