Late 19th C. American wood and applied ornament, silver leaf cassetta frame

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has a cove then convex sight edge. The flat frieze has silver leafed curling leaves upon a patterned background then rising in a convex profile to a half round at the top edge. Cove sides and a plain back edge. Original finish.
