This organically-grown Chinese black tea (hongcha) is sourced directly from the producer and is a delight! Made from a green tea cultivar and processed with very traditional techniques, the resulting black tea brews a much lighter cup than a "typical" black tea. The aroma is surprisingly floral and the flavor is delicate and fresh, silky smooth with a light sweetness. If you like Darjeeling teas or dark oolong teas, you should try this tea!
