Late 19th C. American , applied ornament and gilded, fluted cove frame

This frame has a stepped flat liner with a delicate band of ornament and a raised fillet. The cove has flutes with acanthus leaves at the corners and a ribbon motif between two raised fillets at the top edge. Side coves with oval design at the back edge.
