Late 19th C. American gold leaf, applied ornament reverse profile oval frame

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has a flat sight edge with a leaf tip design below the burnished convex profile with four leaf and flower designs at the top, bottom and sides. The profile drops in a cove with the back edge with a leaf motif and flat sides. Original gilding
