Late 19th C. American applied ornament and gilded frame in the della Robbia style.

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has flat sight edge with twinning ribbon and flower design. The bulging outer frame has high relief clusters of flowers, leaves and ribbons and a narrow cove at the back outside edge. Gold metal leaf with bronze overpaint.
