Late 19th C. gold leaf reverse profile cassetta frame with applied ornament

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has a beveled liner with a convex profile with swirling leaves and corner straps above. The broad flat frieze has elongated leaves and the convex outside edge small curling leaves. The sides are flat with a small inset cove. Original gilding.
