Early 20th C. American carved and gold metal leaf frame in a provincial style

Available from Atelier Richard Boerth when we last checked. Sold from the shop’s own store; the price there is the one that counts.

This frame has plain sight edge with a flattened cushion profile frieze low relief carved C-scrolls and tendrils at the corners and a fluting effect between. The rounded top edge is lightly carved at the corners and centers. Flat sides. Original gilding with some bronze overpaint.
