Dedicated road cyclists cover significant distances, primarily during the day when bright conditions require high lumen output for visibility to motorists. However, there's no reason why a powerful taillight can't complement high-performance road bikes. If you invest in top-tier road bike technology, you deserve a taillight that matches that quality.
