Madison Park
Madison is the only Seattle street that runs unbroken from saltwater to fresh, Elliott Bay to Lake Washington, and it ends here at an old ferry landing. The Kirkland boats quit in 1950 and the amusement grounds became the swimming beach, leaving E Madison's last few blocks a lakeside village with the Arboretum at its back.
