Seattle neighborhood
Loyal Heights
Harry Treat platted these blocks above Ballard and named them for his daughter Loyal, which suits a neighborhood that runs on little-league games and alley shortcuts. The playfield and community center hold down the middle, and the storefronts where 24th Ave NW crosses NW 80th St cover the essentials without any fuss.
